Yes! I'm exhausted considering it's 3:00 am. I just have so much on my mind and it's keeping me awake. Haven't had much time really been very busy as everyone else. Sometimes I just feel so overwhelmed with everything I need to do! I do have to say I had a GREAT weekend with my kids. Hubby was out of town and I had the weekend off. The kids and I spent every minute together. They are my life and can't express in words how much I LOVE them! I realized how much I've changed within the last 4 yrs since I went back to work. I'm fortunate to have a job ( part time evenings 4 nights a week) but I feel a little burned out. I miss my kids! And when I say I've changed, what I mean is I've become less patient and always feel like I'm rushing especially with the kids. I run off to work pretty much right after my daughter comes home from school. My son is in 1/2 day K so I at least see him for a while. In the morning I'm trying to clean, grocery shop, volunteer at the school, try to help whoever needs help, study for assessment test, etc.... Having a bit of a rough time with it all. And it feels good to just let it all out right now. I'm sure I'll look back at this and see how crazy I really am and how I like to ramble on about everything!!
Sigh!!! All right! Calmed my self down. Will give sleep another chance. Nite Nite

First day back to school
Today was the kids' first day back to school after a fun X-mas Break. We managed to entertain the kids and keep them pretty busy during the last two weeks. My favorite time spent with them during the break was when we decided to stay home and enjoy each other's company! It was the perfect winter day, Tues Dec. 22nd to be exact. Of course I didn't have to work that day which made even more perfect... (plus they were complete angels the entire time!!! HALLELUJAH!!)
My husband and I tried to mentally prepare the kids for the return to school. And I must say, it was an uneventful morning. We'll see how tomorrow goes..
I worked this evening so I'm feeling a little tired. Stayed up late the night before doing laundry and I wasn't even through with it! IT NEVER ENDS!!! UGH! So nite, nite!
Need to lay down on my couch and pass out...Oh I LOVE my couch!!! :)

Have no idea
My official first blog! Well...I don't even know if I'm doing this right. Why am I doing this? I have know idea..:) That's me all right! Here I am doing laundry waiting for my washing machine to end it's final cycle... WOW! I thought..I'll start a blog! (And I what's really funny is I type r-e-a-l-l-y slowly and can't spell. Thank goodness for spell check!)
I don't expect anyone to find this interesting, but I guess I'll give it a try and have fun with it! Maybe through all this writing I will somehow figure out who I "really " am. HA!!
OH! Washing machine stopped! Let me throw those wet suckers into the dryer... I'll be back!
Minutes later...
OK. Threw another load into the wash and of course I must go through all pockets on my kids pants BEFORE I put them in. Yes, I've learned my lesson. I do not want to "melt" any more blue and green crayons in their pockets after I transfer the wet clothes into the dryer! This time I found a total of three different lip balms, one guitar pick, a used Shell gas gift card, and a pretty yellow glittery snowflake sticker. That's from my silly daughter's pockets. I guess that's not so bad considering she LOVES insects! A couple of years ago during our cicada season, not too long after the crayon incident, as I felt through her pockets I found a couple of HUGE CRUNCHY dead cicadas in there! OMG!!! When I asked her why she kept those cicadas her response was "They're cute and have a fat nose!". Let's just say I've become quite fond of them!
My little son on the other hand usually only collects loose change! Which he says he'll buy cars or candy with! AHH! To be a kid again! They never cease to amaze me! How I adore them!
It's almost time to start folding that load which was drying. Not sure when I'll be back. Hopefully soon. Goodnight!
